Tara Thorpe, LPCC
As a therapist, I believe that every individual has an innate capacity for wisdom, healing, and wholeness. My role is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported and empowered to access their inner strengths. I specialize in working with members of the neurodivergent, queer, and recovery communities, particularly young people and those struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, C-PTSD, emotional dysregulation, neurodivergent burnout, and identity exploration.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in unconditional positive regard and non-judgment, as well as, evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Polyvagal Theory, which help clients build emotional resilience, enhance self-awareness, and foster nervous system regulation.
Whatever you are struggling with, I promise to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and authenticity.
Together, we will create a space where your voice is heard, your identity is celebrated, and your journey toward healing feels affirming and grounded.
